An intimate and quiet winter elopement in Clear Lake, Manitoba.
Mae and Julius reached out to me only a few weeks before they wanted to Elope. As most of their family is in California and the Philippines, they decided to elope in Manitoba – just the two of them!
They had never been to Clear Lake, Manitoba before, but they knew by just a quick google search, that it would be the perfect spot for their winter elopement. And I knew they perfect location for the ceremony and vow exchange: Deep Bay Beach. With its towering forest and the soft blanket of snow, it is an incredibly romantic place in the winter – and a perfect place for an elopement.
Before the ceremony, Mae and Julius wanted to get ready together. Helping each other get into their carefully crafted wedding day attire was important to them. The two of them got ready at Lakehouse, a trendy but sleek cabin vibe guest room in the heart of Clear Lake. We also finished the day off here – with dinner reservations for the two of them in the CUTEST Spruce Hut (make you you scroll all the way to the end to see the pictures!).
As they had never been to Clear Lake before, they put their full trust in me to plan their entire elopement day. I curated a timeline for their day based on how they wanted to spend their elopement day, with an emphasis on intimacy, fun, and calmness.
