Winnipeg Family Photographer

This family session from last spring outside of Winnipeg, Manitoba was so fun to be a part of. It is such a joy to be a family’s photographer and see each year how the kids have grown! Family photography sessions are so near and dear to my heart, whether in Winnipeg, Manitoba or if a bit of travel is involved.

I’ve photographed Jessie and her family for years now, and it is such an honor to be their family photographer and to document so many important moments in their life.

We actually tried to do this session a few days before, but their little guy was NOT feeling it! We tried for a good hour, but the poor boy was not himself. I suggested that we reschedule and pick a location he is familiar with. Jessie suggested this incredible forest and field area near their house where they walk their dogs.

Manitoba has such a pretty spring, and it is a great time of year for a family session. It isn’t too hot and it avoids all (or most) of the bugs! We all picked off several wood ticks, but thank fully none of us aren’t skittish of them!

Jessie and Shane, thank you again for trusting me to capture and document this exciting time for you. You are both such a ray of light and it feels incredible to be in your presence! You are both so calm and so loving. Your kiddos are SO lucky that they have you both as parents.
