This Kenora, Ontario family session at their cabin was so much fun! We embraced the chaos (and adventure) that little kids have and we let them take the lead.
This cabin means to much to this family. It is a place to have new adventures and to make incredible lasting memories with their growing family. For the kids, this means being outside from dawn till dusk, and exploring this beautiful lake just outside Kenora, Ontario!
We started off with some pictures with the Grandparents, and then asked the kids what they wanted to do next! Naturally, we started looking for bugs, frogs, snails. For family sessions, I want the children to be comfortable and to be themselves. So that is exactly what we do! We let them lead and we follow. 🙂
We picked wild flowers, went canoeing, Mama pulled her daughter though the water on the paddle board (supermama!), and we finished off the session jumping on the couches inside the cabin.
Family sessions are meant for PLAY, not poses. When you let your walls come down, magic happens.
